FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENSE
A Federal Firearms License allows a business to engage in the interstate and intrastate sale of firearms. All firearm manufacturers, distributors and dealers who ship and receive firearms and ammunition are required to have an FFL to conduct business. This license prevents businesses from selling firearms, ammunition and accessories to customers without meeting safety conditions and federal regulations. Having an FFL gives certified arms dealers access to legally buy, sell, transfer, and ship firearms.
Provided below is a copy of the Louisiana Firearms Federal Firearms License. If you wish to have a firearm legally shipped to us for transfer, please send this document to the seller or transferor of your firearm, so that they will know where to legally ship your firearm for pickup. We ONLY accept firearm transfers from businesses with an FFL.
As an added safety measure, please verify our FFL with the ATF's FFL EZ check website at: FFL EZ Check. The purpose of this ATF program is to allow an FFL or other user to verify that a Federal Firearms License (FFL) is valid and that the information on it is correct. This is an important tool because many scammers try to falsify a FFL's information on the license itself to steal firearms or money from people. This ATF verification tool helps to fight and prevent those scams from happening.

OUR SOT
SPECIAL OCCUPATIONAL TAX
A Special Occupational Tax (SOT) license, held in conjunction with a Federal Firearms License (FFL), allows a business to engage in dealing, transfer, sale, and related commercial activities involving National Firearms Act (NFA) firearms and devices. All FFL holders who manufacture, import, or deal in NFA items—such as suppressors (silencers), short-barreled rifles (SBRs), short-barreled shotguns (SBSs), machine guns, destructive devices, and Any Other Weapons (AOWs)—are required to pay the annual Special Occupational Tax and maintain active SOT status to conduct that business legally. This license ensures businesses meet the additional federal regulations and safety requirements under the National Firearms Act.
Having an SOT gives certified arms dealers access to legally buy, sell, transfer, and ship NFA firearms, including tax-exempt transfers between qualified SOTs on ATF Form 3.
Provided below is a copy of the Louisiana Firearms Special Occupational Tax. If you wish to have an NFA firearm or device legally transferred or shipped to us, please send this document (along with our FFL) to the seller or transferor, so that they will know we are authorized to receive it for pickup or further transfer. We ONLY accept NFA transfers from businesses that are properly licensed and hold valid FFL/SOT status as required by law.
